Biography
I am Dr. Hariprasad Sarkar, an academician (born in 24 January, 1963) and educator dedicated to the advancement of higher education. I have started my career as Lecturer in Zoology in City College in 1992. I love to teach ‘Genetics & Molecular Biology’ at Undergraduate & Post Graduate level in many institutions as visiting professor. I joined as Founder Principal in Gourav Guin Memorial College in a rural belt in 2009 taking challenges to develop an institution. Currently, I serve as the Principal of Garhbeta College, where I have been leading academic and institutional development since 2015. I hold a Ph.D. in Zoology (Molecular Endocrinology) from the University of Calcutta, with over 30 years of teaching and administrative experiences. My research in life sciences has earned me recognition, including the prestigious title of Fellow of The Zoological Society (FZS), Kolkata. Passionate about education, I have introduced postgraduate programs, modernized campus infrastructure, and implemented student welfare initiatives to create a thriving academic environment.
